I was born in Dallas, Texas where I lived until I graduated High School. At a very young age, I received a Kodak Brownie camera and that was the beginning.....

In the early 1970's I attended the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where I majored in Fine Arts/Photography. There I studied the History of Photography under Beaumont Newhall and spent many hours in the darkroom. Everything was black and white, chemistry and magic. Henri Cartier-Bresson, Ansel Adams, Dorothea Lange, Richard Avedon, Alfred Stieglitz and Georgia O'Keeffe were among my main influences in photography. Photography is really exciting for me, as there are so many advances in the digital world to learn and explore.

I also love to paint with oils on canvas and alcohol inks on different mediums. I am always learning new techniques and mediums from fellow artists.

With a love of people, art, music, animals, nature, travel and the outdoors I am always ready to explore with the camera and lens. Photography is my passion, and I love capturing rare moments in time. I am an active member in the Photographers of  Dripping Springs (PODS).

Thank you for visiting my website and for letting me share my work with you.
